Storytelling circle with The Oh-Aissieux at the Funky Seomra nightclub

Behind the stage is a cosy room with duvets and cushions. The light is low and the atmosphere is chillled out. People are telling stories. You are welcome to join in.

The Oh-Aissieux is delighted to host another storytelling circle at Dublin’s leading alcohol-free nightclub, to usher one year out and invite a new one in. Looking forward to seeing you there! 

Admission EUR 15 – grants access to the whole nightclub, including live musicians, four DJ's, two dance spaces, chill-out areas, art area, wishing tree, collective countdown ... Four calling birds, three French hens,  two turtle doves, and a partridge in the Happy Pear cafe. 

Doors open 8pm. Club closes at 2.30am.

Lost Souls Rise Anew

As the night closes in and winter draws near, you are invited to come with us through doorways into other worlds, where lost souls stalk the living. Storytellers Adam Wilson and The Oh-Aissieux will perform in atmospheric soundscapes improvised on the spot by cellist Claire Fitch and guitarist Donal Mac Erlaine. 

Adam Wilson and The Oh-Aissieux are innovative storytellers and long-standing members of the Narrative Arts Club. Claire Fitch is a cellist, improviser and composer: http://www.ambiencellist.com/ . Donal Mac Erlaine is a guitarist, composer and musicologist: http://donalmac.com/ . 

Lost Souls Rise Anew is part of InnovationDublin 2012, which takes place across Dublin from 15-26 October. The festival demonstrates Dublin’s capacity to inspire, interact and innovate: http://www.innovationdublin.ie

Story-O's A September 25th Feast - Tasty Tales of Food and Mystery

Story-O is performing again on the 25th of September!



Let us gather for a feast of stories on the week of September's End.
Apples and Oranges shall spring to life,
Cakes and french fries will end their family strife,
and stories of food and mystery will be rife

Join the tellers of Story-O on the 25th of September at 8pm upstairs in the Stag's Head Pub.

On August 18th and 19th this summer Milk and Cookies invites you back to the Secret Garden for our Second Ever FESTIVAL! 


Think sing-a-longs by the campfire, storytelling under the stars, clowning around in the daytime with our fun activites and workshops, and of course Cookies!

And since we're still a bunch of joy-crazy non-profit volunteers - we've found a way to make it Even Cheaper for you this year (if you buy early that is). Early Birds will get entry to the festival, camping and all the cookies you can eat for just €30! Latecomers get the same for the still-low price of €38 :)

Once again it is time for stories. On the 28th of January 2012, at 8pm the tellers of Story-O are back and welcome you to an enjoyable evening of storytelling at the Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Pembroke Street Lower, Dublin. The storytellers will open their treasure trove for you and present you legends from all around the world as well as tales with a twist and stories to warm your heart on a cold day. Join us on an evening featuring Boaz Zur (Israel), Nina Tanis (USA), Eleanor Nicholas (France), Adam Wilson (Ireland), Simone Schuemmelfeder (Germany) and Michael Phelan (Ireland).

Admission price: €6.00 for members of C.F.C.P., €8.50 for non-members.
